AWS Direct Connect

Our team helps organizations connect their datacenters directly to AWS.

AWS Direct Connect is a cloud service solution that makes it easy to establish a dedicated network connection from your premises to AWS. Using AWS Direct Connect, you establish a private connection between AWS and your datacenter, office, or colocation environment. This can increase bandwidth throughput and provide a more consistent network experience than internet-based connections. AWS Direct Connect is compatible with all AWS services accessible over the Internet, and is available in speeds starting at 50 Mbps and scaling up to 100 Gbps.

Build Across Data Centers
Sela has deep expertise in designing and building secure and performant solutions that span multiple Data Centers. While we are committed to keeping solutions as simple as possible, we are also cognizant of the challenges that render migrating all workloads to AWS or another cloud provider impractical. When creating hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud solutions, we leverage our team's versatile experience to design solutions to cater to every customer's unique use case.

Methodology
We work with you and your team to understand and refine a set of requirements to meet your unique hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud goals.
We pull together experts at distributed software, computer networking, data engineering, and infrastructure to craft a plan.
We produce a detailed roadmap with a set of measurable milestones.
If the scope of the engagement is large, we embed our engineers throughout your organization to drive key initiatives, clarify unknowns, and deliver results.
We identify and work through or around blockers as early as possible.

Direct Connect Implementations
Are you looking to establish a performant dedicated network connection from your network to AWS? Our team can help you obtain the necessary prerequisites and configure your on-premises and AWS equipment to establish an AWS Direct Connect between your datacenter, office, or colocation environment and AWS. Using AWS Direct Connect yields high bandwidth throughput and provides a more consistent network experience than internet-based connections.

Latency-Free Integrations
Workloads like video-editing and trading systems can require very low latency connections to integration endpoints. Our team is adept at decomposing systems to constituent pieces and deploying latency-sensitive components to physical infrastructure near you. Some services that we offer that might help you achieve success with these challenges are:
Deploying AWS Outposts to your local data centers to help you leverage AWS Services on Premise.
Configuring CloudFront or other Content Distribution Networks (CDNs) to provide nearby points of presence to cache assets.
Leveraging AWS Local Zones nearby your integration points to eliminate integration latency.
Deploying AWS ECS / EKS Anywhere to enable you to leverage your AWS control plane for services that you are running in your data center.

Performant Global Networks
Our team is adept at building networks that span clouds, regions, and data centers. Our team is comfortable configuring networks connecting GCP components, Azure components, AWS components, and configuring physical routers and switches. We regularly connect physical networks to AWS via AWS Direct Connect, site-to-site, and client VPN connections. Within AWS, we can help you effectively use AWS Transit Gateway, VPC peering connections, Transit Gateway peering connections, and Cloud WAN. We are also comfortable helping you build networks that meet compliance frameworks by implementing firewalls and deep packet inspection appliances.

Data Movement
Are you running into bottlenecks when you send huge volumes of data to the cloud? We can help you establish AWS Direct Connect dedicated bandwidth connections to AWS and leverage AWS Snow solutions like Snowcone and Snowball to process data at the edge and move huge volumes of data to the cloud. Are you struggling to manage the footprint of hundreds or thousands of IoT devices? We can help you connect your IoT devices to AWS and manage events that they emit using AWS IoT.
