Senior Backend Engineer

Job Location: Petah Tikva
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team!
In this role, you’ll work on large-scale distributed systems, lead backend development initiatives, and play a key role in the company’s cloud transformation, modernizing existing platforms and building scalable, cloud-native solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.
• Lead technical initiatives across core payment systems.
• Build and modernize distributed systems using Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Develop cloud-native solutions as part of a large-scale cloud transformation.
• Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Product, Security, and Operations teams.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.

• 6+ years of backend development experience with C# and/or Node.js.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• 6+ years of experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Experience developing cloud-based SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/Containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Experience integrating AI tools into software development workflows.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
