Sela's managed services team designed & implemented the solution involving App, Infra, and DB modernization to tackle performance and efficiency. We trained the Pathfndr team on Kubernetes & GKE. Data workloads were finetuned by Sela.

 

The Challenge

The challenge was managing their applications in a virtualized environment along with expenses incurred on the same. The main focus was on modernizing the application & the infrastructure for better management and to minimize costs. The client required help with expertise on Kubernetes, GKE, and other modernized services on GCP. Dataproc workloads needed finetuning for improved ML performance.

 

The Solution

Sela redesigned and modernized their application and infrastructure using Kubernetes, GKE, etc . Their unmanaged services like DB (Postgres) and Redis were modernized and migrated to managed services. We trained their team on Kubernetes and GKE. The Dataproc workloads were optimized to increase ML modeling performance. Sela implemented Monitoring and alerts on GCP to improve their operations.

 

The Result

After the App, infra & DB modernization, the efficiency and management of the application as well as infrastructure improved drastically. Because of the training provided by Sela, the Metripping team became proficient in utilizing GKE as well. The Dataproc cluster and workloads finetuning resulted in efficient ML modeling. Also, as a managed service, we provide periodic managed support.
