The Challenges
The challenge for BrightSource is to modernize and migrate one of their customer portal applications, "Solar Focus," to AWS infrastructure. The project aims to implement a microservices architecture for the backend, showcasing its feasibility. This involves breaking down the backend into smaller, independent components and integrating a static web application seamlessly with relevant services to optimize performance and enhance security.
The solution
The solution includes several key components: Firstly, the team will involve a DevOps engineer to contribute their expertise. Additionally, develop a function to enable custom authentication, enhancing the security and authentication processes for the customer portal application, "Solar Focus."
Furthermore, the Solar Focus application will be operational and seamlessly hosted on AWS, providing users with a secure and scalable platform to access and utilize its features.
The result
As a result of the solution implementation, significant achievements have been implmanted. Firstly, all the infrastructure has been successfully provisioned and meticulously configured, providing a robust and reliable environment for the project. Additionally, the creation and configuration have revolutionized the development and deployment process, introduced automation, and streamlined workflows. This ensures faster and more efficient iterations, enhancing productivity and reducing time-to-market.
These outcomes signify a successful transformation, enabling BrightSource to leverage modern infrastructure and streamline its development and deployment practices.
